The team advises employers and employees alike in day-to-day employment matters. We can advise both new and established businesses on their employment structure and, where appropriate, can carry out legal audits in respect of employment and HR-related systems. Our exposure to the media and entertainment industries means that we have a particular expertise in putting in place measures relevant to those sector businesses including the preparation of junior contracts of employment, directors’ services agreements, consultancy agreements and the various policies and procedures that should form the core of staff handbooks.
The team have experience in handling employment disputes on behalf of both employers and employees. We provide representation in the Employment Tribunals in respect of a spectrum of claims including unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, discrimination actions and redundancy-related matters. We are also experienced in providing or advising on Compromise Agreements.
