Temilola Ade-John

Temilola Ade-John was called to the Bar in 2003 (Middle Temple) and, after working for a firm of Solicitors, joined Calvert Solicitors at the beginning of 2006. She qualified as a Solicitor in the same year and now heads the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. Temi became a partner in April 2008.

Temi has gained a reputation among her clients as a tough, no-nonsense litigator and negotiator and has represented clients in a wide range of disputes including intellectual property, contract, insolvency, property, employment and construction. Temi’s clients range from listed companies, household names and high net-worth individuals to those seeking sound, cost-effective legal assistance. She is known for her friendly, approachable manner and her proven ability to deliver desired results. Reported cases in which she has been involved include Dearlove -v- Combs [2007] EWCR.

Temi is a Member of the Black Solicitors’ Network and a Member of the Employment Law Bar Association (ELBA).

Interests beyond the office

Temi’s main passion is sport, in particular football and basketball. In addition to being an avid Arsenal supporter, she has played as a centre-forward for Dagenham & Redbridge Ladies FC since 2002. Temi plays basketball regularly and can be found on most indoor and (during the summer) outdoor courts around north London. She also enjoys music, food and travel.
